Enough interest was generated so that the owners began selling from a street-side cart on the far west side of Houston. They soon outgrew the street-side cart and opened The Mexican Deli. Commitment to quality and customer service soon made them a well-known Houston tradition serving some of the tastiest tamales in town and across the country. Tamales, sauces, jellies, chilli are only a few items on their menu.
