Here's your chance to 'Sit in a Spit!' This unique experience takes place at one of the country's most famous former RAF airfields. Great for all ages, this exclusive experience gives you a chance to get up close to one of these classic aircrafts not to mention snatch tons of great photo opportunities! Plus, you'll have the opportunity to take an official tour of the Heritage Hangar, home to several airworthy Spitfires as well as other numerous vintage warbirds!
The Fine Print
Bookings are required and subject to availability.,To redeem send your name, address and voucher code stating which deal you have purchased to: kgb@intotheblue.co.uk.,Events are usually scheduled once a month from April to September.,Sessions usually run from 10.30am - 2.30pm.,Spaces are limited so please book in advance.,The availability of specific aircraft cannot be guaranteed however there will always be at least one Mk9 Spitfire.,The aircraft do not fly at these events.,The tours are suitable for all ages however under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.,You need to be agile enough to climb up into the Spitfire cockpit.,Staff will be on hand at all times to assist guests in and out of the aircraft.,At no point do you fly in or with the Spitfire.,Leather soled shoes are not suitable as they may slip on the wing, trainers or rubber soled shoes are ideal.,All visitors to the hangar must be voucher holders - additional guests are not permitted.,This voucher has no cash value.,Cannot be combined with any other offers.
